Claude - “twenty something” Music Video
"For 'twenty something' we wanted to visually represent an internal mental landscape with elements of nature, architecture, movement, and memory. For this project I was inspired by the magical and dreamlike quality of empty and surreal spaces across the Midwest. DP/Colorist/Brother Flynn Drew and I worked to create a landscape for Claudia’s music and garments to wander through. When we daydream or dialogue with ourselves, we can see the beautiful but also the morbid, and we can question our choices and actions in a rapid fire way. Memory can confuse and twist our perceptions of beauty, success, failure, and our relationships with ourselves and others as we grow. 'twenty something' is a coming of age song, and we aimed to show how it can feel to be stuck in the middle of the kaleidoscope looking around."
